Ben is passionate about improv.
More than any other class, more than any other lesson, improv helped Ben develop skills for science and in life. Ben has been “officially” improvising since January, 2020- a great time to get started in a group art form before a pandemic. Ben has taught improv at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, led workshops, guest lectured, and more recently started an improv group in Madison, Wisconsin. His group, Amalgam Improv, aims to be the “grad school” of improv in Madison by producing events for experience improvisers to perform, running workings, and improv workouts for high-intensity reps.
